The Cloisters on the Platt monastery and retreat facility is the vision of entrepreneur and philanthropist, Joe Ricketts, founder of the Cloisters on the Platte Foundation. Set on a beautiful natural expanse along the Platte River in Nebraska, the destination opened in July of 2018 and offers a silent retreat experience in the Jesuit tradition.
