Cloisters on the Platte:

Station #8 - Jesus speaks to the women of Jerusalem

This collection shows the process from  first sketches and models to final cast bronze. This included a team of people, traditional sculpture skills and digital technology to convert the initial concepts into larger-than-life bronze sculptures.
Tour all 14 Stations of the Cross

Eichinger Sculpture Studio and four other teams of master sculptors around the country have created the grandest example of the Stations of the Cross ever seen. We also created Station #6 .

A total of 58 sculpted characters were created for 14 stations of the cross. The monumental bronze figures stand 7’ tall. Each was rendered in clay and cast in bronze to tell the story of the crucifixion of Christ.

Smaller versions of each of the 14 Stations of the Cross are also available in bronze approximately 22" tall.

The Cloisters on the Platt monastery and retreat facility is the vision of entrepreneur and philanthropist, Joe Ricketts. Opened in July of 2018, the monastery offers a silent retreat experience in the Jesuit tradition. Visit the Cloisters On the Platte website
