Commissioned Busts
Two recent portrait busts created for the Portland Valley Scottish Rite Statuary Hall at their 113-year old Center in downtown Portland, Oregon. We integrated digital scanning technology to capture physical features of both the former and current Sovereign Grand Inspectors General. After creating a foam foundation, clay was added and fine details rendered. Additional photographs and dimensional castings were made of many of the organization’s symbols, which we carefully incorporated into the sculptures. Form there, elegant bronze castings were created.

11.5" clay model submitted to Georgetown University for approval. With minor alterations, final details were added.
Eichinger's attention to detail is evident even at this stage. Referencing only photos of Mr. Hariri, Martin was able to create a credible likeness as the foundation for the next stage.
Attention to the most minute details is part of the magic of this elegant portrait. The texture in the tie matches one of Mr. Hariri's neckties. Additional details in the collar, buttons and chain add to the richness of the experience.
